Went over there looking for fill dirt. They didn't have any fill dirt for me, but I was able to help my mother-in-law with her four standard-sized box gardens. Ended up getting three trailer fulls of topsoil. Which filled all the gardens completely. for Around 130 dollars. It might have been a little bit more. Overall, very good service. People were very nice. Decent rates. Just a little bit of manual labor. They also do offer delivery, but we didn't need the amount.neccessary for deliver, which I think is four scoops. Which is determined by a large bobcat.

Never have been ripped off so bad in my life being a landscaper for 20 yrs. Did a job 2 yrs ago only 10 yrds mulch required and we dressed it up this season. We'll I had to pay for 18 yrds to complete same job there loader is not a 1 yd bucket at all. Got 4 yds to start and was only 3 and a dusting in my true 1 yrd bucket on bobcat wow I will never use or recommend them ever again!!!! Lynchburg is way better.

I did not intend to visit Gilbert’s Sand & Stone in Monroe, Virginia. I intended to stop by and say hello to my friend Zach. A quick visit. A handshake. Maybe a little conversation. A civilized afternoon. Instead, I found myself standing in what can only be described as the heavyweight champion of dirt, gravel, and stone operations. Now, I’ve known Zach for over 15 years. Long enough to know that if he says, “Come check out the yard,” what he really means is, “Prepare to witness geological greatness.” The experience began the moment I arrived. Before I could even get fully parked, Zach appeared out of nowhere. I’m still not entirely convinced he doesn’t have motion sensors buried throughout Amherst County. Need directions? Already provided. Need help loading? Already handled. Thinking about asking a question? Zach somehow answered it before I opened my mouth. I’ve seen less efficiency from Formula One pit crews. Then I saw the stone inventory. Friends, I have seen rocks before. These were not rocks. These were monuments. Boulders so impressive they looked like they had their own ZIP codes.
